Big rig trucks lined up at dealership lot.
UNDATED (WSAU) The Wisconsin Supreme Court sided with a local truck center in a dispute over its franchise agreement.
The case dates back to 2004 when Volvo Trucks tried to cancel its franchise agreement with Wausau Truck Center. They'd been a Volvo dealer since 1988. They considered selling their dealership and changing truck models in 2001 -- and then changed their mind and continued as a Volvo dealer. It was three years after that when Volvo Trucks claimed the franchise agreement was violated.
An administrative judge ruled that the dealership fixed the breech of its contract. Yesterday the state supreme court unanimously agreed.
