Rasmussen College wants locals to fill jobs

WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAU) – A Minnesota college that opened its doors in Wausau this spring is hiring.

Rasmussen College has openings for instructors and other support staff. You can find the openings on the college’s Web site.

“As the student body grows, we need to make sure our staffing is in place to support that growth,” said campus director Sue Williams.

Williams has noticed a large number of job applicants as the economy slowly emerges from a recession. She also says the college is taking its time to hire because “we always to make sure the right people are in place.”

The four-year, private college opened its campus in January to offer another educational option to students in Wausau.
