House fire in Aniwa

ANIWA, Wis (WSAU) A home on Highway Double-Z in Aniwa suffered heavy damage in a Saturday night fire.

The Birnamwood fire department responded to a 9-1-1 call around 7:30. The fire started on the upper level of the two-story home and got into the roof. The home suffered heavy structural damage.

No one was home at the time. There were no injuries. The cause is under investigation.
