Highway 51 Road Sign

WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAU) - Some road work that was supposed to happen on Highway 51 in Wausau today and tomorrow has been pushed back to Wednesday.

Crews with the state transportation department will reduce traffic on the highway to one lane in each direction near Highway U so they can perform some soil boring operations along the highway.

The work will happen between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. and should be done by the end of the day on Thursday.
