Long jail term for child-porn convict

UNDATED (WSAU) A 46-year-old Plover man was sentenced yesterday to 20-years incarceration, followed by 20-years of extended supervision on state child pornography charges. Alfred Shippy will be behind bars for 40-years, because his sentence will run concurrently with a federal conviction for producing child porn.

Shippy was sentenced yesterday on state charges of possession of child pornography and first degree sexual assault of a minor.

Shippy pled guilty in July to having videotaped sex with a 10-year-old girl. He'll serve his jail time in federal prison, although it's not known where.
