WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAU) – The pants you're sitting on right now could one day be turned into warm insulation for a house, if recycled.

Vanity in the Wausau Center Mall is holding a donation drive for old denim pants which can be shredded and turned into loose cotton insulation. The nationwide chain is trying to collect 100,000 pairs of pants which can then be reused to insulate 200 homes.

The Cotton Corporation will be using the pants to donate that insulation to the reconstruction efforts in areas hit by floods and storms.

The drive runs through November third, and you can learn more by logging on to www.eVanity.com.
