Mosinee's Drake To Play For Wisconsin

Madison, Wi (WSAU) Wisconsin Hockey coach Mike Eaves announced the signing of seven student-athletes to national letters of intent during the early signing period yesterday. The group includes three players from Wisconsin, Chase Drake from Mosinee, Jefferson Dahl from Eau Claire and Sean Little from Fond du Lac.

Drake is a 6'1, 170 pound defenseman who now plays for Sioux City of the USHL. He was named a 2008 all-state player at Mosinee High and captained them to the State Tournament.

The rest of the signees are Tyler Barnes from Eagan Minnesota, Michael Mersch from Park Ridge, Illinois, Mark Zengerle from Rochester, NY and Frankie Simonelli of Bensenville, Illinois.
